Musical Soul

Before my interest in visual arts, I've dreamed of participating in music myself since elementary. Being enrolled in the honor choir for the school system was an exciting experience for me. I'm honored to be a part of the choir, which is why I still have that musical personality while being an animator and audio editor myself. I've started getting interested in hobbies such as playing the piano, practicing singing, and mixing music. You can never go wrong with having multiple talents!

My Entry to Visual Arts

At first, music would be my leading talent until I started drawing. I started out with simple drawings such as flowers, cartoon characters, and still life. I've auditioned to attend a performing arts school, Martha E. Stilwell School of the Arts, and graduated with the Class of 2018. I was a huge introvert and had to face tough challenges along the way but I kept my head up and continued on with my talent to receive my diploma successfully.

Creativity in Motion

I've always wanted to explore new and exciting features with animation. In 2016, I used this Japanese animation software, MMD, to create funny and entertaining videos on YouTube. (More info in the future). I've gained a large audience of over 600K views on my channel! Until I started attending college and stopped posting on my channel as I grew. I started using Maya, ZBrush, ToonBoom, and Blender as my next stage in animation. With this, I'm ready to advance to the next level with my dream career, creativity in motion.

New Era Begins

I have changed a lot in my journey. Being placed on the Dean's List with a 4.0 GPA and graduating college in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in 2&3D Animation, Magma cum Laude. Music, editing, animation, illustration, and modeling. All combined in one! I'm an independent motion graphic artist ready to show and inspire the world with my creations! The new era of SMJPro Studios & SMJ Productions begins now. Welcome to the world of Sydney M. Jackson.
